We are urgently seeking candidates for our client Oil and Gas – EPC Project in Singapore.

Position: QA/QC Engineer

Nationality: Preferably Chinese speaking Singaporean or Malaysian (Read, Write, Speak).

Required years of experience:  5-10 Years involved in similar offshore oil and gas projects experience

Job Overview:

As a QA/QC Engineer within Oil & Gas EPC project team, the role is responsible for ensuring that all project works, materials, and processes comply with quality standards specified by the project, client, and regulatory bodies. This role involves implementing quality control and assurance plans, conducting inspections and audits, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Assurance Plans.
• Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and approve Quality Control documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and material certifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve quality issues and root cause analysis.
• Participate in vendor assessment and supplier quality assurance activities.
• Conduct NDT supervision and verify testing procedures and results.
• Report and document quality metrics, inspection reports, and audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good HSE practices in quality assurance activities.
• Support training and awareness programs related to quality standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5-10 years experience in QA/QC roles within offshore oil & gas or heavy industrial projects.
• Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NDT techniques preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
• Analytical skills and attention to detail in quality audits and inspections.
• Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
