Job Overview:

As a Piping Designer within Oil & Gas EPC project team, it will produce detailed layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D models of piping systems critical to the Bul Haine offshore redevelopment project. This role translates process piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) into accurate designs ready for fabrication and construction, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), layout drawings, and 3D piping models using CAD software such as PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar.
• Determine pipe routing, supports, and material specifications based on process and mechanical engineering data.
• Generate isometric drawings with detailed fabrication instructions including welding and bending details.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and civil disciplines to resolve routing conflicts and ensure design integration.
• Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and piping material take-offs for procurement support.
• Conduct site walkdowns or field verifications to validate designs.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to provide technical clarifications and design revisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design for offshore oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
• Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., PDMS, CADWorx, AutoCAD Plant 3D).
• Knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 and API.
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.
• Experience with 3D modeling, isometric generation, and piping material specifications preferred.

Job Overview:

As a Piping Engineer within Oil & Gas EPC project team, this role will be responsible for the design, review, and specification of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. This role requires technical expertise in piping layout, materials and coordination with multidisciplinary teams for the successful delivery of offshore or onshore oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver piping system designs including layouts, isometric drawings, material specifications with applicable standards and project specifications.
• Conduct piping routing, equipment layout, and ensure optimal integration with other disciplines.
• Review vendor documentation and ensure conformance with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with process, mechanical, structural, and civil engineering teams to ensure effective design integration.
• Support procurement with preparation of piping material take-offs (MTOs) and specification packages.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in site visits and support construction and commissioning activities to resolve piping engineering issues.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budget, and quality objectives.
• Maintain engineering documentation, reports, and ensure proper archiving as per company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. 
• With 5 to 10 years similar offshore oil and gas projects experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget are preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems in a dynamic project environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
