Position: Marine / Senior Marine Package Engineer
Nationality: Preferably Chinese speaking Singaporean or Malaysian (Read, Write, Speak).
Required years of experience: 5-10 Years involved in similar offshore oil and gas projects experience

As a Marine Package Engineer within Oil & Gas EPC project team, it will be responsible for the management, coordination, and technical oversight of marine mechanical equipment packages for the Bul Hanine offshore redevelopment project. This role involves ensuring the marine packages such as pumps, compressors, valves, and auxiliary systems are designed, procured, and delivered according to project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage marine equipment packages from conceptual design through procurement, fabrication, testing, and delivery.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and vendor documents for marine mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
- Monitor the progress of marine packages, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans to keep timelines and budgets on track.
- Ensure marine equipment packages meet safety, quality, and environmental standards relevant to offshore operations.
- Participate in technical reviews, supplier meetings, and interface coordination with other disciplines.
- Support project engineers and construction teams during installation and commissioning phases with technical clarifications and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on marine package status, costs, and changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine, or Offshore Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years’ experience in marine package engineering, preferably in offshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong understanding of marine equipment including pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with equipment procurement process, vendor evaluation, and contract management.
- Proficiency in project management and equipment tracking tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project requirements.
